Connections to Croatia by train are good. You can hop on one of the trains coming from Slovenia, Germany or Austria and arriving to Zagreb. However, travelling by train in the direction of the coast can be time-consuming and limiting. Even though it is quite affordable, we recommend avoiding train travelling within Croatia. Inbound bus services are plentiful and affordable. Daily bus lines from Germany, Italy, Austria and many other European countries can be found with Eurolines, Flixbus and similar operaters.
